What are Galopettes?

Galopettes are high-performance equestrian riding salopettes designed for riders who spend long days outdoors in all weathers. They are fully waterproof, windproof and breathable, designed by riders for riders to keep you warm, dry and comfortable through winter.

Are Galopettes waterproof?

Yes — Galopettes are built using a 20,000mm waterproof fabric with fully waterproof construction, making them suitable for heavy rain, wind and snow. They’re designed for real British weather conditions.

Are they breathable?

Yes — with a 10,000g breathability rating, they allow moisture and heat to escape while keeping the elements out, helping you stay comfortable even during active riding or yard work.

Are they bulky?

No — despite their weather protection, Galopettes are lightweight and non-bulky, designed to be worn comfortably:

  • Over breeches or thermals

  • Under your favourite coat

  • Without restricting movement

What features do Galopettes have?

Galopettes include:

  • Adjustable shoulder straps

  • Knee-high waterproof zips for fast on/off over boots

  • Deep chest pockets (large enough for smartphones)

  • Quiet, rustle-free technical fabric

  • Reinforced knee panels

  • Grippy seat for security in the saddle

  • Removable elastic leg straps to prevent riding up

Are Galopettes unisex?

Yes — Galopettes have a unisex fit. Please refer to the size guide for the best fit.

What sizes are available?

This first launch includes a limited size range.
More sizes — including tall, short and children’s sizes — are planned for future restocks once this first launch is established.

How do I choose the right size?

How should I wash my Galopettes?

  • Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle

  • Do not use fabric softener

  • Do not tumble dry

  • Hang to air dry naturally

  • Reproof occasionally to maintain waterproof performance

Full care instructions are included with every order.

How long does delivery take?

UK orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days once your order is placed.
Delivery times will vary depending on your location and courier.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently Galopettes are shipping within the UK only.
International shipping options may be released in future.

What is your returns policy?

You can return unused Galopettes within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
Items must be returned:

  • Unworn

  • With all tags

  • In original condition

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

What if my Galopettes arrive faulty?

If your item arrives with a fault, please email hello@galopettes.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number so we can resolve this quickly.

Will you be restocking if they sell out?

Yes — if the first batch sells through, restocks will be planned depending on demand.
